Adopted for Life Rolling Off the Presses

— Thursday, March 26th, 2009 —

I received word yesterday from the good folk at Crossway Books that Adopted for Life has hit the printing presses and should be rolling off the conveyer belts soon (do they still use conveyer belts, or is this just the result of too many Laverne and Shirley episodes as a kid?).  I’ll let you know when it’s ready, but it won’t be long.

I’ll be speaking on adoption (and on other subjects) this weekend at First Baptist Church in Paducah, Kentucky. If you’re in that part of the world, please drop in and say “hey.”

    Dr. Moore,

My wife and I praying about adoption. I live in SC so I can’t make it to hear you speak. Do you have other sermons that I can access on this subject? What about any helpful books? Thanks for your ministry and all that you do for His Kingdom.

    Brian,

I host a radio program that originate in Greenville SC. The website is http://www.knowingthetruth.org. If you click on the Audio button you can listen to past programs that I did with Dr. Moore and Dan Cruver from http://www.togetherforadoption.org

    hope that helps!

I’ll be praying for you. Now that I am almost finished with school, Marcie and I are turning our attention to adoption. Our plan is never to have an “empty nest.”

I just got the manuscript in the mail today (thanks, Crossway!). Don’t tell my clients, but I’m reading your book instead of doing work…

does this mean the release will be before May 31st which is listed on Amazon and Crossway’s website?

I think it will be out earlier than May 31st. I think Crossway is gearing up to have it ready for the Hope for Orphans conference in Dallas at the end of April.
