Yours is about as succcinct an answer as I've seen in a long while.

And the strongest evidence comes from comparing Jesus' candid admission to being the Messiah, when speaking to nobodies who believe Him, while cagily avoiding such candor when speaking to the religious glitterati of that day who despised Him.

And having manipulated the latter into culpable rejection of His Person so that He accomplishes His mission by their crucifixion of Him, He bids His disciples to take up their crosses to follow Him, until they all come back with Him to settle the scores.

Judgment is such an invigorating, such a thrilling doctrine! The Good Guy triumphs! The meek inherit everything! The bad guys get what's coming to them! Wheeeeeee!
