One we adopted at birth, who is now 6, and two we adopted at ages 6 and 8, and now they are 14 and 12. We are a very happy family, the kids get along great (like normal siblings), they all know Christ as their savior, and God has blessed our family tremendously! Many people told us this would never work, that you should never adopt kids older then your own, that we should never adopt older children, and on, and on. Hey, this is how God designed our family, and we love it! Oh, yeah, and I forgot to mention I am white, my husband is latin, my son is "in between," our youngest is black, and our 2 older daughters are Brazilian Indian. Love is colorblind! And adoption is a blessing!!! I recommend it to anyone who is a true Christian, because with God all things are possible! Amen! After we had our son (now 11), we adopted 3 girls. People are buying into the culture and will swallow every lie that is fed to them. I thank you for "Adopted for Life" because it gives the Christian definition for adoption.
