Dr. Moore, you have been a fervent supporter of orphan care and awareness, and I appreciate your passion.
Food for Orphans is diligent as a leader in assisting church leaders in making National Orphan Sunday a success in their church. If there are any churches that want to have a tangible way to honor and bless orphans, I give them permission to contact me directly though email or our website: www.FoodforOrphans.org.
God bless you.

Dr. Moore, I appreciated your comment about some might make it "just a time to confess you don't know how to care for orphans." That will be me on November 8th, my wife and I have both received a burden to adopt and to promote adoption but timing is our issue. We are praying diligently. I was considering having someone skype in our service about orphan care, do you have any suggestions? Our Deacons hav e decided to opt out of "Clown Ministry Awareness Sunday", at least for this year!

Dr. Moore, of all of the Sundays in the year to choose from why was November 8th chosen? I am wondering why Orphan Sunday is on the same day as the International Day of Prayer (IDOP) for the Persecuted Church which has been an ongoing emphasis now for years. Of all of the Sundays in the year to choose from, why was this date chosen? Our church emphasizes IDOP but many adoptive parents, myself included, would like to see a focus on orphans as well. I've asked this before but why November 8? Is there something special about November 8th with respect to orphans? Thanks, Dr. Moore, for all that you do on behalf of the fatherless.
