Wow. This entry truly is inspiring, and a timely reminder for me. Thank you for reminding us what true peace is.

I also want to thank you for all of the great entries this year; I've really enjoyed following your website lately. You and a few others have inspired me to start my own blog in fact (http://thecaffeinecemetery.blogspot.com/), and if time permits perhaps you can check it out?

Either way, I’m really looking forward to the messages God will give readers through you this coming year. Take care and God bless you Russell!

Reminds me of a response that Ian Paisley gave to a women who didn't like how there always seemed to be a scrap on in Paisley's church, and said the her church was a place of perfect peace. He replied, "Ma'am, you can go to a graveyard and find peace...the peace of the dead!"

Thank you so much for helping me sort out my own thoughts on the peace(s) that I desire. This helps a great deal. God's blessings on your peace and rest through the new year.

Wow.

"The sound of Christmas, in the biblical text, isn’t the sound of sleigh-bells jingling, but the clanging swords and strangled babies and demon screams. It’s awful."

Brilliant post, Dr. Moore.

Good thoughts. Made me think of C.S. Lewis' thoughts on love. We can isolate ourselves from grief only by isolating ourselves from joy. "Peace" as God wants for us is hard... it seems.
