Albert Mohler on the Mythology of Star Wars

Tweet Share

In his commentary today, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary president R. Albert Mohler Jr. examines the effect of Joseph Campbell’s pop Jungianism on George Lucas’s “Star Wars” epic. Mohler even cites Lucas referring to Campbell as “my Yoda.” Mohler revisits Bill Moyers’s interviews with Lucas and Campbell on the subject of replacing the “myths” of Christianity with myths rooted in Zoroastrianism and Zen Buddhism. You can check out the full commentary here on Dr. Mohler’s website.
