Schemmitic Language on Gender and Family

Tweet Share

When my friend Dr. Pete Schemm does something, it’s worth the doing. That’s one reason why you should check out the new issue of the periodical he edits, the Journal for Biblical Manhood and Womanhood (JBMW).

The Journal (which is not yet up online; c’mon Pete) features some helpful and engaging articles on the gender issue. It includes a Paige Patterson article on the family, a thoughtful piece by Mark David Walton on gender and the new creation, and a thorough article by Virginia Baptist pastor Jeff Riddle on women and prophecy in the Book of Acts. The journal also features my assistant Robbie Sagers’s excellent review of Donald Miller’s To Own a Dragon.

If you don’t subscribe to the Journal, you should.

Only when we see how lost we are, we can find our way again. Only when we bury what’s dead can we experience life again. Only when we lose our religion can we be amazed by grace again.
